JOIN USBengaluru, DHNS: Bengaluru lad Parvez Ahmed added another title to his extensive trophy cabinet as he clinched the KSTBA State Ranking tournament at the Amoeba Bowling Centre here on Sunday.
Facing stiff competition from the defending champion Akaash Ashok Kumar (219), Parvez (255) did well in the final to overcome the former by 36 pins.
Earlier, the top six bowlers at the end of Round 3 advanced to the step ladder matches.
Kishan R edged past Salman Khan to move into Match 2, but was dumped by Akaash thereafter as he succumbed by a single pin (211-212).
