JOIN USA 30-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for flashing at a woman in Jayanagar, South Bengaluru, on November 27.
Syed Irfan, of Kumaraswamy Layout, a delivery boy with a courier agency, was arrested by the Banashankari police following a complaint by a 22-year-old fashion designer.
According to the police, Irfan had gone to the house in Jayanagar, 7th Block, on November 23 around 3.30 pm to deliver a parcel. He was told the parcel was addressed to the previous tenant and was sent back.
Having realised that the woman stayed alone, Irfan went back to the house on November 27 on the pretext of delivering another parcel and asked if he could come in. The woman scolded him and sent him back.
The next day, around 4 pm, Irfan went to the house a third time and flashed at the woman when her friend was also present. Both of them raised an alarm and noted down the registration number of his motorcycle. They later made a complaint to the police.
The woman also tweeted to the police commissioner about the incident. On Wednesday, police arrested Irfan and produced him before a magistrate who remanded him in judicial custody.
