'Luke warm response for literature'

Knowledge is an asset. It is only through knowledge that one can develop his personality, said writer Srikanta Koodige.

He was speaking after releasing "Srishti Chathurana Vachanagalu" and "Marethuhoda Malenadina Chitragalu" by Mekanagadde Lakshmana Gowda.

"Students should be guided in schools and colleges. They should be asked to oppose corruption" he advised.

"There is lukewarm response for literature in the district. A researcher should collect information. The works of Poornachandra Tejaswi are suitable for research in Malnad," he suggested.
