Jon Hamm to star in supernatural thriller 'Off Season'

Actor Jon Hamm has been roped in to star in the supernatural thriller "Off Season".

"Off Season" will be directed by Jonathan van Tulleken from his own script, based on his BAFTA nominated short of the same name, reported Variety.

Producers are Nira Park through her Big Talk Pictures and J Miles Dale under his Demilo Productions banner.

Set in the harsh Canadian tundra, the story revolves around a man, who goes in search of his elderly father, after he mysteriously disappears. His feverish search exposes shocking family secrets long buried but not forgotten by vengeful forces at work.

The makers are planning to start the shooting early next year.
