JOIN USDrithi Yatheesh won two titles in the girls' category at the Ramaiah Rajan memorial State-ranking junior and sub-junior badminton tournament on Tuesday.
The Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) shuttler won the under-19 and the under-17 singles titles, beating Medha Shashidharan of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) in both the title rounds.
Drithi won the under-19 final 21-15, 21-17 while wrapping up the under-17 crown with a 21-10, 21-13 win over the same opponent.
Later, Medha combined with Keerthana P Shroff to beat Kriti Bharadwaj and Tanya Hemanth in the under-17 doubles' final 21-19, 16-21, 21-19.
Nithin HV claimed the boys' U-17 singles title after beating Pruthvi Roy K 21-17, 21-9 in the final.
