Kannada film producer Poornima Mohan died of a cardiac arrest on Friday afternoon. She was 48 years old.
She is survived by Mohan, her husband and three children-Swathi, Amulya and Surya.
She died at the Columbia Asia hospital around 2 pm. Daughter-in-law of a distributor-cum-exhibitor, K C N Gowda, Poornima had produced three films, Julie (2006), Vijayadashami (2003) and School Days, which is ready for release. The last rites will be held on Saturday at Harishchandra Ghat.
