Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, state Congress president G Parameshwara and other party leaders will meet AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Thursday to apprise him of the party’s preparation for the 2018 Assembly election.
The party has been facing the heat from AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal on the lacklustre response to the Mane Manege Congress outreach campaign. The Siddaramaiah-led delegation will also discuss KPCC’s proposal on Bengaluru hosting an AICC session. Siddaramaiah will also meet Union ministers during the New Delhi visit.
