Traffic police were seen closing potholes on a few roads while managing traffic. The city traffic police stayed updated on twitter about traffic movement, snarls, potholes and waterlogged roads to help people take alternate routes.

Students and office-goers had a tough time reaching their destinations. Many took the Metro to avoid traffic jams. “Potholes are a major problem for two-wheelers. It is dangerous when they are overflowing and invisible,” said Tejas Jain, a commuter from Basaveshwara Nagar.
