DKS offers ornament to Kukke deity

Energy Minister D K Shivakumar said on Sunday that the time is not ripe for him to react on the I-T raids on his house and those of his relatives. He said he will speak on the issue at the right time.

Speaking to mediapersons after offering prayers at Kukke Subrahmanya temple, he expressed confidence that the Congress would retain power after next year’s elections.

He said he had been visiting the shrine for several years with his family. This time, he offered an ornament to the presiding deity to fulfil a vow he made for the welfare of his younger daughter. He also offered prayers for the well-being of the government and people of the state, he said.
