Bhuvan, Paras spur Ebenezer

Bhuvan JP and Paras Gurbax Arya stole the show as Ebenezer International School romped home by an innings and 167 runs against Presidency School in the under-16 Group I, Division I Super League for the KSCA Cup here.

Batting first, Ebenezer posted 305 all out in 68 overs thanks to Bhuvan, who slammed 149 off just 153 balls studded with 18 fours and two maximums.

Abishek S was the chief destroyer for Presidency with figures of five for 109, while Aarya PG (2/46) and Rohan S (2/22) took two wickets apiece.

There was hardly any resistance from Presidency in their first hit as they were shot out for 86 in 52.4 overs.

Ayushmaan Singh (3/8) and Paras (3/9) did maximum damage with the ball for Ebenezer.

Following on, Presidency could never get going and fell to a smaller total, being bowled out for 52 in 36.1 overs.

Paras (5/14) claimed a fifer with Bhuvan (2/4) and Suvir Wadhwa (2/18) also chipping in.
