Students stage protest against VTU

Over 1,200 students from various engineering colleges in the city protested at Mysore Bank Circle on Friday against VTU’s examination system.

The students raised slogans against the VTU demanding removal of the year back and critical year back provision for the non-choice-based credit system (2010) and implementation of supplementary exams for CBCS (2015 scheme) students. AIDSO state vice president Ravinandan B said the VC has taken eight days to redress grievances.
