PNB continue winning run

 Punjab National Bank continued their fine run in the Bengaluru Super Hockey league with a 4-0 win over Army Red on Saturday.

Playing in heavy downpour at the Hockey stadium, the Punjab side took a while to get into the game but the table-toppers didn’t waste much time to get on the score board.

Sukhjeet Singh was the first to sound the board in the 23rd minute, while Gurjinder Singh made it 2-0 in the 32nd through a short corner.

It was no different in the second half too as goals from Gagandeep Singh (49th) and Gagandeep Singh (60th) helped them wrap up the game 4-0.
