Bengaluru home buyers prefer 1BHK flats

A recent survey on house renting patterns has revealed that one bedroom apartments are the most sought after across the country.

The research, conducted by online real estate platform Housing.com, has shown that apartments with one bedroom, hall and kitchen (1BHK) are the most preferred choice for more than 57% of home seekers in Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru and Pune.

Housing.com conducted the research to understand the home seeker’s disposition towards renting houses across top 7 cities in India. With increased exposure to global housing standards and frequent movement across cities for employment and education, the rental consumer is becoming more demanding of the value his or her money buys in a rental home.
