Tejas Kallolkar and Medha Shashidharan lifted the boys’ and girls’ under-17 singles titles at the Yonex Sunrise State championship here on Thursday.
Top seeded Tejas downed Nithin HV 21-18, 21-14 in the summit clash, while third seed Medha defeated higher-ranked Drithi Yatheesh 21-17, 21-14 in the corresponding girls’ final.
Bhargav S Gowda and Nithin HV, seeded one, had to rally against Ajinkya Joshi and Tejas Kallolkar 19-21, 21-16, 21-18 en route to their title winning effort in the boys’ under-17 doubles final.
Saneeth Dayanand wore the boys’ under-15 singles crown after overcoming Naren S Iyer 21-8, 21-18.
