A 22-year-old man was tied to an electricity pole and thrashed by the public at a village in Nelamangala taluk of Bengaluru Rural district for teasing a girl.
According to the police, angry villagers thrashed Imran Pasha for misbehaving with the girl while she was on her way to her college on Tuesday.
Before people could stop him, he fled the scene. As the news spread, agitated villagers searched and caught Pasha and thrashed him after tying him to an electricity pole.
He was later handed over to the Nelamangala Rural police.
