Rishikesh slams ton as Vidya Mandir claim victory

Rishikesh shone with a century as Sri Sri Ravishankar Vida Mandir registered a 52-run win over Embassy Public School in the Group I, Division III under-16 inter-school tournament here.

After rain had delayed the start, Vidya Mandir rode on Rishikesh’s 142 to pos a healthy 203/ 8 in 29 overs, with Deepak claiming two wickets (2/29) for Embassy.

In response, Vishruth (35) and Mukul (31) put up some fight for Embassy before being restricted for 151/9 in 29 overs. Jeevan (2/28) and Chiranjeevi (2/16) shared four wickets amongst them for Vidya Mandir.
