A man is accused of fatally bludgeoning his sister’s husband over marital discord in Konanakunte on Friday night.
Parvez Pasha (45), a resident of Weavers Colony, was a chronic alcoholic and used to harass his wife regularly. His wife’s brother, Habibullah (25), visited him on Friday and asked him to change his ways. But the two soon got into a heated argument. In a fit of rage, Habibullah clubbed Parvez who bled profusely and died on the spot. The deceased worked as a tailor. Konanakunte police rushed to the spot and arrested Habibullah.
