Truck turns turtle, driver unhurt

The drivers of a concrete mixer truck and a college bus had a narrow escape in an accident between the two vehicles in Horamavu on Wednesday.

The bus belonging to Nitte Engineering College was on its way to pick up students around 6.45 am, when the accident occurred on Horamavu underpass on Outer Ring Road. No one was in the college bus, except the driver and an attendant. The attendant too escaped unhurt.

The accident occurred as the truck brushed against the college bus and turned turtle. The Banaswadi traffic police removed the truck with the help of a crane and restored vehicular movement.
