India captain Virat Kohli continues to top the ICC ODI batting chart while his predecessor Mahendra Singh Dhoni has gained three positions to be placed 12th in the latest rankings issued on Tuesday.

In the MRF Tyres ICC ODI Player Rankings the top five batsmen, bowlers and all-rounders have remained unchanged.

Kohli is on top of the table, followed by Australia’s David Warner, South Africa’s AB de Villiers, Joe Root of England and Babar Azam of Pakistan. Dhoni, meanwhile, has moved up three places to 12th after scoring 154 runs in the series against West Indies.

No Indian features in the top 10 bowlers and all-rounders lists which is being headed by Australia’s Josh Hazlewood and Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh.

In the recently played series, India defeated the West Indies by 3-1 while Zimbabwe overpowered Sri Lanka by 3-2, resulting in changes in the team rankings which has given West Indies renewed hope in the race to the 30 September 2017 cut-off date for direct qualification for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

The gap between West Indies and Sri Lanka has narrowed down to 10 points.
