JOIN USA team from Bishop Cotton Boys' School has been adjudged the best delegation at the 23rd Student Leaders Convention (SLC) organised by the Hwa Chong Institution in Singapore.
Aimed at enhancing the leadership skills of students by exposing them to pertinent social problems, the convention had young participants from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.
The theme of this year's SLC was amity. The topics ranged from discrimination, health to the rise of media and technology. The student leaders had to come up with viable solutions to various issues that threaten peace in society.
The convention featured intra-faculty discussions, proposal writing, debates and presentations. The Bishop Cotton's team comprised Pradhan Sudhanva Chetan Gowda, Johanan Rohan Bhavansi, Rahul Kumar, Jatin Sablani, Atul D' Souza, Raghav Rathi, Hithesh Manjunath, Branden Henry and Vibhash Vardhan Jalan.
