Manoj, Prasanna star for Visweswarapuram

On a day when bowlers called the shots, Visweswarapuram Cricket Club (2) eked out a four-wicket win over BEL Colony Recreation Club in the KSCA Group I, Division III league for the Nassur Memorial Shield here.

Batting first, BEL could muster only 96 all out in 33.3 overs as Manoj KH (4/27) and Prasanna Patil (3/10) ran amok, sharing the bowling spoils between them.

Visweswarapuram, however, made a heavy weather of their modest target before they scampered to 100 for six in 20.5 overs. Kishan R (3/51) and Daniel Sequeria (3/34) got amongst wickets for BEL.
