JOIN USJD(U) district president B S Gowda has lodged a complaint to Lokayukta against Mandya MLA and former minister M H Ambareesh on Tuesday.
In his complaint, Gowda stated that Ambareesh has failed to solve the problems faced by the people of his constituency and is continuously absenting himself from the Assembly sessions.
He has alleged that Ambareesh has failed to use the opportunity provided by the people, hoping that he would strive for overall development of the Mandya constituency. “He was dropped from the Cabinet due to his failure in performing his duties. Upset over this, Ambareesh stopped visiting the constituency and abstained from the legislature sessions. It is against the spirit of the Constitution. Hence, legal action should be taken against him,” he said.
