CSC, HPE services merge to form DXC Tech

DXC Technology, a new  organisation created by the merger of CSC with the Enterprise  Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), on Tuesday announced its public launch as an independent, end-to-end  IT services company.

Besides establishing differentiated operating model to deliver a seamless client experience, the  company officials said DXC Technology built solutions to accelerate digital transformation for our customers.

The company also started trading  on the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbol DXC. Over a third of the global workforce, about 50,000  people, will be based out of India, spread across nine cities.

The company has nearly 6,000 enterprise and public sector  clients in 70 countries and approximately 1.70 lakh employees.

DXC Technology has established more than 250 industry-leading global partner network relationships,  including 14 strategic partners like AWS and  AT&T.
