Activist lodges complaint against MP

Social activist Prabha Belavangala on Thursday met city police commissioner Praveen Sood and lodged a counter complaint against Karnataka BJP Yuva Morcha president and MP Pratap Simha for making derogatory remarks against her over a post she made on a social networking site.

She showed the commissioner a video in which Simha was making derogatory remarks against her at a press conference in Mysuru.

She told reporters that she has appealed to the police to take legal action against him for making such remarks .

Prabha had reportedly posted images portraying UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath in poor light and it had prompted the BJP Yuva Morcha wing to lodge a complaint against her.
