JOIN USA CCTV footage, showing two women walking in Vijayanagar area while two bike-borne miscreants come from behind and try to molest a girl, is doing rounds in the social media.
The police said the motive of the pillion rider is not clear as he either tries to snatch the mobile phone from the woman or tries to slap her on the back. After this act, they flee the spot.
A senior police officer said no one has come forward to lodge a complaint so far. “The footage is not clear. We would like the women to approach the police and register a complaint. The footage is being examined to identify the bike number. We will wait for another day and if no one comes forward, we will register a suo motu case and conduct the investigation,” the police officer added.
