Boy teased over stammering hangs self

 A 17-year-old student committed suicide by hanging at his house in Hennur on Tuesday.

The deceased, Vignesh Krishna, was a resident of Chellakere. He was an SSLC student of Maruthi School in Banaswadi and suffered from stammering and epilepsy.

According to police, Vignesh was doing poorly in academics and was teased by his classmates for stammering. He went to depression.

On Tuesday morning, when nobody was at home, he hanged himself from a ceiling fan. The incident came to light when his parents returned home. They rushed him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. His body was then shifted to Ambedkar Medical College Hospital for postmortem and was later handed over to his parents. Hennur police have registered a case of unnatural death.

Unemployed man ends life

A 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan in his house in Dasarahalli on Monday evening.

Police said Deepak had completed his PUC and was looking for a job. The son of a retired police sub-inspector, he was depressed over not getting a job despite attending several interviews, police said.

Deepak was upset as he could not find a suitable job and was also in a relationship with a girl who recently got married to someone else, police said.
A case has been registered in Magadi road police station.
