Senthil Kumar (35), who is suspected to have fatally stabbed his estranged wife’s parents in the city on Friday night, was picked up from Madanayakanahalli off Tumakuru Road, early on Saturday morning.
Senthil had fled to a relative’s house in Madanayakanahalli after killing his wife Sathyavathi’s parents - Kumar (60) and Murugamma (55) - at their house in Konanakunte, south Bengaluru, around 8.30 pm on Friday.
He had also stabbed Sathyavathi and Manjunath (34), a neighbour who tried to
stop him from going on the rampage. Police picked up Senthil after his relatives tipped them off.
During the interrogation, Senthil said he was provoked by his in-laws’ refusal to send his wife back to him, DCP (South) Sharanappa S D told DH.
