Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy is said to be eyeing the Bommanahalli Assembly constituency for his daughter Soumya, who is keen on making a political debut next year.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru on Thursday, Reddy said his daughter is keen on entering politics. “She has a passion for environment, animal rights and is inclined towards politics,” he stated.
Reddy said he will like to retain his present constituency- BTM Layout. Soumya will contest from any constituency, if the party high command gives her the ticket. Sources said Reddy is keen that Soumya contests from the Bommanahalli constituency, which has a large number of voters from the Reddy and the Vokkaliga communities.
