India enter semifinal

A century from Ajay Kumar Reddy coupled with half-centuries from Durga Rao and Venkateswara Rao D propelled India to a massive 152-run over Nepal, while booking their berth in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup cricket for the blind here on Wednesday.

India finished second on the leaderboard behind arch-rivals Pakistan.

The hosts won the toss and elected to bat setting up a mammoth 289 in 20 overs. India lost only one wicket with Ajay and Durga having to retire due to injury, after scoring 109 and 53 respectively. Venkateswara contributed an unbeaten 82.

In response, India restricted Nepal to 137 for the loss of five wickets. Ramesh Bahadur Baniya (35) and Bikram Bahadur Rana (25) contributed for Nepal in the chase.
