JOIN USVyshak V shone with bat and ball as Social Cricketers registered a thumping 303-run victory over Gajanana Cricket Club in the YS Ramaswamy memorial tournament here on Tuesday.
Batting first, Socials, buoyed by half-centuries from Rohan Kadam (86), KC Cariappa (50), Kishore Kamath (72), Vyshak (53) and Rakshith (58) piled a daunting 378 for seven in their 50 overs. Narasimha stood out with the ball for Gajanana as he picked up three for 72.
With a massive chase at hand, Gajanana wilted under pressure and were bowled out for 75 in just 16.4 overs. Vyshak (5/20) and Shabaz (3/15) did the damage and handed their side a comprehensive win.
