A mess of a sequel

For those following the popular sci-fi Resident Evil series since 2002, the sixth edition titled The Final Chapter will leave you with a wish that there are no more sequels to punish you.

There is nothing much to say about this carelessly-made film where the characters are almost lifeless. Director Anderson must be the laziest guy around. He makes the already running-dry plot into a total mess. The shaky action scenes are pardonable, but too repetitive. If you are relying on the promos, you will feel cheated.

The only good thing is Jovovich who manages to carry on the weight of an overstretched adventure of ‘Alice’.

Packed with jumpy action scenes and loud explosions, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is made for fans of the series. However, many will be disappointed.
