Former president of the Rajya Vokkaligara Sangha and former office-bearers of the sangha have approached the Karnataka High Court questioning their ouster from the organisation.
The petitioners questioned the procedure followed to pass a no-confidence motion against them by other committee members contending that they have not followed the bye-laws. Former office bearers Dr Appaji Gowda, Ulloor C Manjunath and G L Narendra Babu contended that members of the committee did not issue any notices before ousting them.
The petitioners questioned the appointment of Dr Mahadeva and H M Narayan Murthy as office- bearers. Justice Ashok B Hinchigeri adjourned the hearing to Friday.
