Congress leader Prof B K Chandrashekar on Wednesday said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was neglected at Pravasi Bharatiya Divas held in Bengaluru recently.
Addressing reporters, he said the chief minister and several ministers were not treated as per protocol. Minister for IT and BT Priyank Kharge was not allowed to sit on the dais. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas was like a BJP meeting, he charged.
He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi breached the protocol by including politics in his speech at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. It was not the right forum to talk about politics, he said.
