Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday produced S C Jayachandra, chief project officer, State Highway Project, arrested in money laundering case before a special court here.
On the application filed by the ED officials, the special court extended the custody of Jayachandra till December 15.
Jayachandra was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate for possessing unaccounted cash in new currency at his house.
A senior ED official said that several other assets belonging to Jayachandra have surfaced during the questioning. Hence, his custodial interrogation will continue, the official added.
