HC judge's car damaged in serial accident

A government car in which a High Court judge was travelling, a police pilot vehicle and three other vehicles were damaged in a serial accident near BDA office junction on Sunday afternoon.

The police said that at around 2 pm, a sports utility vehicle (SUV) hit a cab from the rear, which rear-ended another SUV. The driver of the second SUV could not control the vehicle and it hit the car in which the judge was travelling, from behind. The government car hit the pilot vehicle which was moving in the front.

No one was injured, but the vehicles were damaged. The High Grounds police arrived at the spot and inspected the damaged vehicles. Based on the information provided by the public and the police in the pilot vehicle, a case was registered against the driver of the first SUV who caused the accident, the police said.
