TVS Racing’s Abdul Wahid Tanveer clinched his first MRF Mogrip National Supercross Championship here on Sunday.

It was a successful day for TVS as reigning champion KP Aravind was victorious in both the races he participated on the day. The results also meant that Aravind ended as runner-up in the overall championship standings.

The Mangaluru lad edged his team-mate Tanveer in the Foreign Open Group A (upto 250cc/500cc) as well the Indian Expert Group B events but it still wasn’t enough to usurp Tanveer from the top.
