Marriages of 22 couples and distribution of sewing machines to 30 women from financially less privileged families will be held.
Addressing reporters on Tuesday, reception committee chairman B M Mumtaj Ali said that the inauguration will be held at 4.30 pm on December 2. Samasta Kerala Mushavara and Kasargod qazi general secretary Shaikhuna Ali Kutti Musliar will preside, Syed Munawwar Ali Shihab Tanjal, Panakkad, will inaugurate, DK district qazi Twakha Ahmed Musliar, Samasta Kerala Mushavara member Abdul Jabbar Musliar, Mittabail and Mudigere qazi M A Khasim Musliar Kumble will be the chief guests.
Youth Empowerment and Sports Minister Pramod Madhwaraj, MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake and others will be guests of honour. The mass marriage will be held at 10 am on December 4. Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda will be the chief guest.
Fiza Group, Bengaluru, managing director B M Farooq, Al Falah Group Al Jubail managing director Nazir Hussain and Spark Arabia, Jubail, managing director Janab Habib will be guests of honour. SSF chairman Shafi Sa-adi Nandavar and Mohiyuddin Kuma Masjid Chokkabettu Khatib Abdul Aziz Darimi will deliver spiritual discourses.
The valedictory programme will be held at 4.30 pm on December 4. DKSC, Mangaluru, chairman Syed K S Atakkoya Tanjal will preside, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the first grade college, All India Sunni Jamiyatul Ulama general secretary A P Aboobakar Musliar will deliver a spiritual discourse, Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara will be chief guest.
Ministers Pramod Madhwaraj, B Ramanath Rai, Tanwir Sait, U T Khader and others will be guests of honour.
