Aneeshwar's heroics spurs Vidyashilp

A superb all-round performance from Aneeshwar G propelled Vidyashilp Academy to a massive 147-run win over St Ann’s High School in the KSCA Group I, Division II under-14 cricket tournament for the BTR Shield here.

Vidyashilp batted first and posted a healthy total of 289/6 in 50 overs, with Aneeshwar slamming 150 runs. For St Ann’s High, Aneesh took two wickets (2/55).

Aneeshwar then claimed seven wickets for 23 runs as St Ann’s School were all out for 142 in 39.2 overs, to cap off a fine victory. 

Results: Vidyashilp Academy: 289/6 in 50 overs (Aneeshwar G 150, Adarsh 36, Akshan Shetty 25; Aneesh 2-55) bt St Ann’s High School: 142 all out in 39.2 overs (Sagar 51, Meeth 27; Aneeshwar G 7-23).

Triveni Public School: 240 all out in 44.1 overs (Rohan 60, Akash 89; Aditya M 2-41, Shreyas 2-19, Arjun M 4-24, Mahesh 2-11) bt Sri Aurobindo Memorial School: 144 all out in 34.4 overs (Harsh 32, Rakshith 46; Praveen 2-26, Rohan 2-36, Jeevan 2-22).

The Regency Public School: 136 all out in 40.2 overs (Suchith M Reddy 53; Manoveer 3-12, Samit D 2-14, Dhruv 4-21) lt to Mallya Aditi International School: 137/1 in 13 overs (Manoveer 70 n.o., Jasper 51).

St. Francis School, ICSE: 125 all out in 38.4 overs (Gaurav S 44; Yashovardhan P 4-18, Aryan S 2-35, Siddhant 2-27) lt to Sri Kumaran’s Children Home: 128/3 in 27.4 overs (Aryan S 28, Srivats R 30, Yashovardhan P 32 n.o., Sumukh SP 27; Gaurav S 3-31).
