Tumkur batted first and were bowled out for 141 in 43 overs. For President’s XI, Tarun took five wickets (5/37) while Dheeraj S chipped in with three wickets (3/40).
In reply, Aqib J (92), Yeshwanth (83), Rohan (70) and Akshay Rao (74 n.o.) batted well as President’s XI scored 376/6 in 90 overs, taking a 235-run lead in the process.
Tarun again came to the fore, with figures of 6/54, as President’s XI bowled out Tumkur Zone for 196 in 81.1 overs. President’s XI walked away with five points while Tumkur were docked a point.
