Arya Rajath Raj and Sanjuktha Vikram bagged the boys’ and girls’ singles titles respectively in the Fortune Sports-AITA U-14 Talent Series tennis tournament in Kengeri here on Monday.
In the boys final, Arya defeated Jeffin Lourduraj 6-3, 6-3 while Sanjuktha outplayed Jasha M 6-1, 6-2 in the girls’ title tie.
Results (all finals): Boys singles: Arya Rajath Raj bt Jeffin Lourduraj 6-3, 6-3.
Semifinals: Arya bt Tarun Gowda 6-4, 6-4; Jeffin L bt Sarvesh 6-4, 2-6, 11-9.
Girls singles: Sanjukta Vikram bt Jasha M 6-1, 6-2.
Semifinals: Sanjukta bt Chandini Murali 6-1, 6-1; Jasha M bt Kushi VR 1-6, 6-4, 10-1 (super tie-break).
