Dharmender, Syed spur Royal CC to victory

Dharmender Jain’s seven-wicket haul and Syed Asgar’s century propelled Royal Cricket Club, Chinthamani to a 67-run over Kengeri Cricketers in the KSCA Group I, Division IV league-cum-knockout cricket tournament for the Metro shield here.

Royal Cricket Club batted first and posted a total of 192 in 41.3 overs, courtesy Syed’s 104.
Karthik took four-wickets (4/26) while Nandish (2/40) and Purushotham (2/11) also chipped in with two wickets each for Kengeri Cricketers .

Dhamender then came to the party for Royals CC, picking 7/51, to bowl out Kengeri Cricketers for 125 in 33.3 overs.
