DySP Ganapathi's son doesn't oppose 'B' report

Last Updated 29 September 2016, 19:18 IST

In a surprise development, late DySP M K Ganapathi’s son Nehal on Thursday did not file his objection to the ‘B’ report submitted by the criminal investigation department (CID) to the JFMC court here.

The CID has given a clean chit to the suspects in the case - Bengaluru Urban Development Minister K J George and IPS officers A M Prasad and Pronab Mohanty.

Ganapathi had committed suicide early July, alleging torture by the trio.

Following this, they had been booked under Section 306 of the IPC for abetment of suicide. However, the parents and siblings of the late DySP have not concurred with Nehal’s decision.
