Additional KSRTC buses for Ganesha festival

In view of the upcoming Gowri-Ganesha festival, the KSRTC has made arrangements to operate 1,200 to 1,300 additional buses to meet the rush between September 2 and 4.

An official release said that special buses will also be operated from within and outside the state to Bengaluru on September 5.

Special buses will be operated from Vijayanagar, JP Nagar 4th and 9th block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang (Rajajinagar), Malleswaram 18th Cross and Kengeri Satellite Town to Shivamogga, Davanagere, Tirupathi, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kukke Subramanya, Dharmasthala and other places based on the traffic potential.

The KSRTC has included additional buses on the online reservation system to book tickets in advance.

Passengers are requested to be cautious while choosing the pick-up locations as multiple points have been provided in the advance booking system for their convenience.
