Shubhang, Rohan demolish Triveni

A superb effort with bat and ball from Shubhang Hegde and a double ton from Rohan N gave Delhi Public School, South a massive innings and 299 runs win over Triveni Public School in the Group I, Division I under-16 tournament for the KSCA Cup here.

DPS batted just once and amassed 467/2 declared in 61 overs. Rohan N was the most prolific with an unbeaten 200 from 157 balls, an innings studded with 30 fours.

Shubhang was next best and slammed an undefeated 113 off just 67, while Khush B also added to the mammoth total with 109 in 132 balls.

Triveni, with a collossal task at hand, were completely overshadowed by their oppononents, who shot them out for 104 in their first innings.

After his heroics with the bat, it was time for Shubhang to shine with the ball as he grabbed six for 36 while receiving support from Taha K (3/24).

It got worse for Triveni, who could only manage a paltry 64 in their second hit, as Shubhang (6/23) ran through their batting order again.

The result ensured DPS were awarded five points and Triveni docked a point for losing by an innings.
