A Lokayukta special court on Tuesday reserved its order on the private complaint filed by two RTI activists against Yusuf Sharief alias D Babu of Umrah Developers in connection with an attempt to bribe High Court Chief Justice S K Mukherjee.
The court reserved orders to August 6, 2016. The comlainants Bhaskaran and Jayakumar Hiremath had sought directions to the DySP of the Anti-Corruption Bureau or the Assistant Commissioner of Police, High Grounds police station, to register an FIR on Sharief’s involvement in the attempt to bribe the Chief Justice.
