BDA chief inspects Arkavathy Layout

Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) Commissioner Rajkumar Khatri on Friday visited Arkavathy layout where alternative sites have been identified. He visited Jakkur, RK Hegde Nagar and K Narayanapura villages and directed the officials to complete all works and hand over the sites to the people within three months.

He said any hurdles should be quickly  tackled with heads of other departments to ensure that sites are alloted within the timeframe. As was disclosed in the last meeting with Bengaluru in-charge Minister K J George, 1,200 people are yet to get alternative sites in Arkavathy Layout. Khatri also inspected the Hennur Junction flyover and directed the engineering section to complete the project quickly to ease connectivity.
