R Samarth (118, 141b, 17x4, 2x6) and Siddharth (104, 176b, 10x4, 2x6) scripted fine centuries while Shreyas Gopal (57 n.o.), CM Gautam (41) and R Jonathan (41) chipped in with valuable knocks in their team’s dominant first innings total of 389/5 declared in 74 overs.
Shreyas then wreaked havoc with the ball, his six for 46 spurring Swastic Union CC to bundle out Mount Joy to a paltry 120 and enforcing a follow on.
