JOIN USFour unidentified men hacked a rowdy to death in Hulimavu on Monday night. The deceased, Nagaraju, 26, a resident of Arakere, was returning home when the murder took place.
According to the police, Nagaraj was involved in murders and attempts to murders besides other petty crimes. Old rivaly could have ended in.his murder, said the Hulimavu police.
He was returning home after dinner at a hotel.
The assailants came in two bikes, accosted him near Anjaneya temple in Ambedkar colony and attacked with with lethal weapons, the police said.
The assailants absconded immediately, added the police. Nagaraj was arrested in a robbery case and was jailed.
He obtained bail and had come out of the jail recently.
The jurisdictional police constituted a special team to arrest the assailants who are absconding.
