The “love-hate” story between former Haryana deputy chief minister Chander Mohan and senior law officer Anuradha Bali alias Fiza, which ended tragically in the latter’s death, has got another twist.

A person from Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday filed a petition in a local court near here claiming Anuradha to be his legally wedded wife.

In fact, he has petitioned before the court staking claim over Fiza's immovable and movable property, including a house in Mohali near here in Punjab which could be worth crores of rupees.

Fiza, who went into severe depression after her split with Chander Mohan, had committed suicide in her house after prolonged bouts of acrimony in the relationship. Mohan, son of former Haryana chief minister the late Bhajan Lal, was then the deputy chief minister, when he fell in love with Fiza.

Mohan went missing for several weeks before finally surfacing one day as Chand Mohammad. Alongside was Anuradha Bali, his new wife he named Fiza Mohammad.
