BR Sharath blasted a fine double century to propel HAL Sports Club into the final of the KSCA Group II, Division II, tournament after they routed Dell Cricket Club by a massive 225 runs here.

Batting first, HAL posted a mammoth 369/9 in 50 overs, largely due to Sharath’s knock of 203 that came off just 139 balls and was laced with 23 fours and nine maximums. For Dell, Chandru (3/48) and Jari GN (3/53) picked up the bulk of the wickets. With a daunting chase at hand, Dell put up little resistance and were shot out for 144 in 25 overs. Aditya Rai was the chief destroyer for HAL as he bagged four for 33 while being ably supported by Bhaskar (3/15). HAL will face Reserve Bank of India in the final.

RBI eased to a five-wicket victory over Triton Sports Club, Mysore, in the other semifinal.
